Jermaine Mendoza
Jermaine Mendoza is a Dallas-based precision haircutter and educator who helps working stylists turn “good cuts” into repeatable, teachable systems—built on mechanics, not magic. As Stylist + Director of EDU at FORM Salon, he’s the one shaping the education culture in-house: behind the chair with clients, and in the classroom with pros who want their hands to feel steadier and their results more consistent.
His story starts early—he began his hair journey at 13, inspired by his grandmother (a hairdresser originally from the Philippines), and he still credits that foundation for his love of the craft. After stepping away from college and navigating a tough stretch that included homelessness, he committed to cosmetology—graduating from Paul Mitchell the School (San Antonio) in 2010, becoming an instructor soon after, and eventually moving into education roles in the Dallas area.
Jermaine’s teaching voice is equal parts artist and technician: he pulls from drawing and design principles to build tailored haircuts that look intentional—and grow out with grace. If you’re craving a fundamentals reset, sharper structure, and a “teach-to-learn” mindset that keeps you evolving, working with Jermaine is a solid next step.
