Keya Artistically Neal is a color educator, speaker, and DEI consultant who helps stylists get fluent in what the industry too often treats like an elective: textured hair. After nearly three decades behind the chair, she shifted her focus to education—because she kept seeing the same pattern: pros were taught “hair” like it only meant one fabric, one default.

Her answer became a movement. Through Kolour Kulture and Texture VS Race, Keya teaches the science of color across textures and pairs it with the real talk—bias, language, culture, and what it takes to create safer salon spaces for clients and artists. Her offerings range from digital education (including kolour class replays) to in-salon training and summits built for hands-on learning.
