Anna Haldane

Anna Haldane is a Perth-based colour specialist and educator who helps stylists build brunette work that looks expensive on day one—and still makes sense months later. From her chair in Wembley, she’s become known for lived-in colour, colour-melts, and that hard-to-fake mix of depth, softness, and shine that grows out like it was planned that way.

Her story has a pivot in it: she started in cutting and education, then followed the pull toward colour and leaped to specialise in lived-in hair—an intentional move she credits with elevating her career. From there, she honed a “less is more” approach: fewer, smarter foils; cleaner placement; and knowing where depth needs to live so ribbons actually pop (especially on brunettes).

These days, Anna’s education extends past formulas — into the behind-the-scenes variables that change everything, like water quality at the basin (a topic she’s spoken about through her work with Eco Heads). She offers education enquiries and a Perth shadow-style learning option via her Linktree, inviting stylists who want to refine their eye, slow down their process, and make their colour more predictable.
