Sonna Jean Brado—known online as Sonna Brado—is a Spokane-based haircutting educator who teaches stylists how to stop “just doing a haircut” and start designing one: on purpose, for a real person, with real hair patterns and a real lifestyle.

Her world is precision with personality. In her in-person classes and workshops, Sonna centers a personalized cutting approach that trains stylists to quickly read face shape, texture, and density—and choose techniques that actually fit what’s in the chair. Her education philosophy is built around a “teach-to-transfer” progression model: concepts you can take straight from the demo and use behind the chair Monday morning.
