I’m just blown away by the style of these wonderful hand-painted West African salon signs. \u00a0I came across them on Boing Boing<\/a>\u00a0and found them so refreshing and inspiring in our world of computers and digital imagery.<\/p>\n

They come from the French speaking\u00a0Republic of Benin<\/a> in West Africa.<\/p>\n

There is a great looking book called Ici Bon Coiffure<\/a>\u00a0by Jean Marie Lerat that would be great to grab a copy of.<\/p>\n

This guy<\/a>\u00a0seems to be selling a bunch of them from Ghana. \u00a0It would be so much fun to have one of them, but really I’d love to see them in their home country.<\/p>\n
