I found these furniture poufs quite intriguing when I came across them. Called the Bare Hair Project<\/a>, these seats have been created for Studio V\u00e4stra Sandgatan, a hair salon in Sweden.<\/p>\n

Designed by Ola Giertz<\/a>, the exterior of the poufs are made of recycled bottles, while the interiors are stuffed with human hair collected off the floor of the salon. Ola’s project explores ways of reusing things that would normally be thrown in the garbage.<\/p>\n

As well as being a great conversation piece in the salon, the Bare Hair poufs include the client in the making of the furniture – their hair is the stuffing!<\/p>\n
