Blake Reed Evans
Blake Reed Evans (he/him) is an award-winning hairstylist, salon owner, and global educator based in Tampa, Florida. He helps salon owners and stylists build color-driven, education-first businesses that feel as good behind the chair as they look on Instagram.
A lifelong fashion and pop-culture obsessive, Blake started out studying marketing before finding his true home in the salon world. At Shear Art Salons, where he’s a co-owner and stylist, he leads a large team with a focus on mentorship, clear career paths, and partnership-style growth—experience he now shares openly with the wider industry.
As a longtime Redken Artist and member of the SalonCentric #ItTakesAPro Team, Blake travels across North America teaching classes on hair color, design, business development, and social media—on main stages, in salons, and online. He also serves as Social Media Trainer and host of the SUMM IT UP podcast for Summit Salon Business Center, where he digs into leadership, culture, and the real conversations salon pros are having about money, growth, and happiness in the industry.
Blake’s teaching style is fast-paced, practical, and disarmingly human—equal parts formulas, phone-camera tips, and “here’s what actually worked in my salon.” Whether you’re building a multi-location company or leading yourself behind the chair, his education is an invitation to think bigger about what a salon career can look like.
