Allison Webber — better known online as @thegreenhairedstylist — is a vivid and blonding specialist turned educator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She helps hairstylists who love bright, expressive color build the technical confidence and business skills they never quite got in school.

After more than a decade behind the chair, Allison’s story is very much a stylist’s survival tale. Fresh out of cosmetology school, she landed in a salon environment that left her feeling under-trained and ready to walk away from hair altogether — she even enrolled in college to become a vet tech. A move to a new salon, with owners who believed in her, flipped the script and showed her what real leadership and education could feel like.

Today, Allison works from her suite at Olive + Onyx in Charlotte, specializing in vivid color, blonding, and extensions while teaching stylists across the U.S. through in-salon classes and virtual education. Her programs — like Confident Vivids, Lived-In Vivids, and her online classes INSTAELEVATED (Instagram marketing for hairstylists) and SPLIT PRISMS (a split-dye rainbow technique) — blend hands – on color education with social media, branding, and photography.

Allison’s teaching style is transparent, supportive, and very real: she’s the approachable educator she wished she’d had when she was struggling.
