Suite Salon in Fukuoka City, Japan
This wonderfully tiled salon is located in Fukuoka City, Japan and was designed by Koicki Futatsumata of the Case Real design group. They redesigned an old office building turning the first three floors into the Suite Salon, with the top floor being residential.
The challenge for the designers was how to incorporate the existing exterior white tiles with the new interior. Their solution was to stick with the tile theme by using a wide variety of colours and tile lusters inside the salon as well as mixing them with the exterior. A great transformation and what an amazing environment to work in!
