I came across these wonderful “bun boxes” while perusing Dezeen and thought what a strange but awesome accessory to have in your salon or at your station. You could keep your bobby pins or business cards in them.
These were created by Emilie Voirin who is a French product designer living in London. Her pieces can be made with human or synthetic hair which is woven and wound into buns. These buns are then used as toppers on a series of pots made of porcelain.
Emilie also created shaving brushes, replacing the short bristles with long flowing hair and using wooden handles.
