I’m about a month late on this one, but the New York Times has an interesting article about TSA hair pat downs in US airports.
It sounds like there have been a couple of instances recently where TSA agents have singled out travellers with naturally large hair for special hair pat-downs even though they did not set off any detectors. Â Meanwhile women with big blonde texas hair are just being waved through.
What are your thoughts on hair putdowns when travelling?
I think it’s truly wonderful to see more women wearing their hair naturally, so it’s sad to hear of stories like this.
