Le Cinq Salon in Japan

Here’s a wee peek inside Le Cinq Hair Salon located in Japan.  This beautiful space was created by the architect team at Ninkipen!

The mirrors at each cutting station are mounted on A-frames which are angled to provide privacy for each customer.

My favourite part of this salon is the tree that’s planted in the middle of the space. I love it when designers bring the outside world inside!

Trees and plants work great in salons as they help filter the air of toxins and give spaces a relaxing spa feel.

    Its nice but those mirrors on that angle will make everyone’s jaws heavier. Never a good start.
