Other Lives – Tamer Animals

My latest music obsession Other Lives have been around for a few years so I’m a bit embarrassed that it’s taken me so long to discover them.

Hailing from Stillwater Oklahoma, Other Lives offer up cinematic songs backed by a five piece band of extremely talented musicians.

Their latest album “Tamer Animals” is beautifully crafted and is the perfect addition to your salons playlist.  Nearly every member of the band plays multiple instruments ranging from cello, violin, trumpet, clarinet, keyboard and drums.

The bands shaggy lead singer Jesse Tabish has a haunting voice although it looks like he could use a trim!

Having toured with Bon Iver (another band I worship), Other Lives create wonderful music that will fill your salon with a mellow warm fuzzy feeling.
