I was browsing Evo’s blog the other day and came across a great set of images by the Czechoslovakian artist Albin Brunovsky. I’d never seen his work before but was immediately taken by his intricate etchings. His fantastical hair and hat illustrations are so powerful and somewhat distressing.
Brunovsky is apparently considered the greatest Slovakian artist of the 20th century. Sadly he passed away in 1997
