No music for you
The copyright battle is moving its from the computer to the salon in London as government agencies start to crack down on salons who don’t have music licenses to play copyrighted music in their salons.
A London high court justice has barred Doreen Ellis, owner of Studio 44 salon, in Church Road, Northolt from playing music on her premises after hearing from inspectors that she was playing copyright music without a license last year. Mr Justice Floyd also ordered that she must pay fines of £1,455 within 14 days.
