Book: Waiting for the busy bus
I’d highly recommend Waiting for the Busy Bus by Marion Shaw.
The book is a collection of lessons learned over years of consulting in the salon industry.
Marion does a great job of taking you through the simple changes you can implement into your salon to help you make money and keep your clients happy.
Each chapter is easy to digest and there are a lot of great forms and check lists that I found especially helpful.
While the book is packed with tons of great ideas, she has kept it to a nice manageable length that you can easily read with even the most hectic schedule.
I’ll be returning to sections of this book again and again for years to come.
Pick yourself up a copy through her Website.
Those of you who live here in Vancouver don’t forget that Marion will be presenting at the ABA Show this weekend. If you’re going to be attending I’d highly recommend checking out her education session “Business Building”.
