This afternoon we watched Apple’s Keynote Address at the WWDC 2011 like the nerds that we are! It was culty as always but still quite exciting. The most exciting part of all was the announcement of iCloud, Apple’s answer to Cloud computing. It’s not the features of iCloud that excite us but rather the fact that Apple is fully stepping towards what we at salonMonster believe is the future of of computing, The Cloud.
With salonMonster being exclusively a Web-based application from the get-go we believed that most software would be heading towards the Cloud and we wanted to be ahead of the curve. So it’s about time that the big boys are jumping in the ring and we are excited about the next wave of Cloud-based applications.
