Questions
What owners ask about the numbers.
Do reports cost extra?
No. Reports are included in every plan. Plans start at $30 a month for one person, plus $15 a month for each additional staff member.
Can my staff see the reports?
That is up to you. Administrators see reports for the whole salon. Each staff member can be allowed to see their own reports, or have report access turned off.
Can it work out commissions?
Yes. You can set commission rates, see them in your reports, and recalculate from a date you choose if a rate changes. It is not a payroll system.
Do sales from my own card terminal show up?
Yes. A payment taken on your own terminal is recorded at checkout, so the sale is included in your reports.
Can I use the reports at tax time?
They give you totals for sales, payments, tips and the tax you collected, which is what a bookkeeper or accountant usually asks for. salonMonster does not file taxes for you.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can download your records as CSV files from your settings at any time, at no extra charge.
