Do reminders cost extra?
No. Booking confirmations and email and text appointment reminders are included in every plan. Plans start at $30 a month for one person.
Do reminders go by email, text or both?
Either, or both. Each client record has its own reminder settings.
Can I change what the messages say?
Yes. You can edit the wording of your reminders and your salon’s communication settings.
Can I check whether a reminder was sent?
Yes. Each client record keeps a history of the confirmations and reminders sent to that client.
Can I charge a no-show fee?
Yes, if the client has a card on file and you use salonMonster Payments. You check out the appointment for the amount and charge the saved card. Your cancellation policy needs to cover it.
Will reminders stop no-shows?
They help, and customers tell us so. No software can stop every no-show, so we will not promise you a number.
