The new album released by British band The xx called “Coexist” is a perfect fit for the moody, cloudy, greyness of the west coast winter that’s starting to set in here in Vancouver.
Fronted by Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, and Jamie Smith, The xx dabble in melancholy crooning backed up with their fantastic minimalist dark beats.
Soulful songs about love gone wrong will envelop you as you sway to their music. A great mellow listen for Tuesday’s at the salon.
