DJ Muldoon

Born in Sheffield, England and raised by two hairdressers, DJ Muldoon started his career at the Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica in the mid-90s, absorbing a 'do it until you can't do it wrong' mentality before creating curriculum for major brands and spending close to a decade with Paul Mitchell. In 2011 he founded theFactory in San Diego, a combined salon and education space, and built Knowledge Destroys Fear, his education brand dedicated to taking the superfluous out of haircutting. His classes focus on simplifying shapes and understanding the what/why/how/when of each cut to create modern shags, bobs, and layered shapes.
