Joanne by Pip Jolley

“Joanne”  is a line of jewellery and accessories made from vintage pieces or materials meant to look vintage created by Pip Jolley, an artist and a jewellery maker from the UK. Here is what her site says about the line:

“In a time where money was limited, women of the 1940’s had to ‘make do and mend.’ After being told how her grandma  would tan her legs with gravy browning and then draw a seam up the back of them to give the illusion of stockings Pip was inspired. These women had a solution to everything; they would even roll their hair using a wooden peg. What couldn’t these women do? Surely they deserved a medal.”

Sounds petty cool huh? Check out her site to learn more.
